A fiery single vehicle crash Friday evening near Siler claimed the life of a Bell County woman, and alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor, according to the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department.

Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley pronounced Sharon F. Mills, 54, of Ingram, dead at the scene about 9:20 p.m. Friday from injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Ingram is located on Highway 92 outside of Pineville.

“I think she passed prior to the fire,” Croley said. “I feel that the impact of the accident was the ultimate factor that caused her death.”
