Flora Mae Helton, age 67, of Brush Arbor Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital of London, Kentucky. Flora was born March 16, 1954 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Steeley and Beulah (Rapier) Carter.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Jones and Dorothy Henson; brothers, Edward Carter, Everett Carter, Arnold Carter and Ernest Carter; and a grandson, James Robert Wagers.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela McKiddy of Williamsburg; two grandchildren, Matthew Wagers of Louisville and Lindsey Wagers of Williamsburg; three great-grandchildren, Braylee Wagers, Adrianna Wagers and Rowen Wagers; sister, Cleda Henson of Corbin; brother, James Alfred Carter of Barbourville; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Sunday, November 21, at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 21, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Vanover officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Hill Cemetery on Whetstone Road.
