Flossie Harris Paul, 83, of Browns Creek Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on September 9, 1933 in Whitley County, to the late John Harris and Matilda (Mullis) Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Paul; a granddaughter, Jessica Paul; two sisters, Ruth Mullins and Jean McDonald; and two brothers, Ulus Harris and Charles Harris.
Flossie was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church on Highway 11.
She is survived by her four children, John Paul and wife Jean of Chandler, AZ, Wilma Croley and husband Jerry of Rockholds, Charles Paul and wife Debbie of Williamsburg and Ronnie Paul and wife Tina of Denton, TX; eight grandchildren, Jeanie Hanrahan, Phillip Partin, Margarett Gibson, Alan Paul, Misti Gray, Joshua Paul, Justin Paul and Martika Roundtree; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, August 8, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wilbur Huddleston and Rev. Ulis Powers officiating.
She was laid to rest in the Wells Cemetery at Gausdale.
