Forcht Bank, Knox Sheriff’s Dept. partner for ‘Shop with the Sheriff’

Date:

Last Thursday, Forcht Bank and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department partnered together to provide 33 area children with Christmas memories they will not soon forget.

The day began with a trip to Barbourville Wal-Mart, where each child was able to pick out clothing and toys with help from Forcht employees, Sheriff Mike Smith, and his deputies.

The group was then treated to a special lunch at the Forcht Bank branch in downtown Barbourville. Santa Claus made a special appearance, and kids were given gift bags courtesy of Forcht Bank.

Before leaving, each child received a brand new bicycle.
