Forcht Bank recently began two new campaigns.
The Stick a Forcht in Hunger campaign is the bank’s annual food drive that will run through Dec. 15.
Customers, area residents and businesses are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items and monetary donations to any Forcht Bank location. Last year, Forcht Bank gathered 17,193 food items during its campaign.
Donations will go back into the same city in which they were collected.

- Burlington and Covington: GO Pantry

- Greensburg: Green County Ministerial Association
- Lexington: God’s Pantry
- Louisville: Southwest Area Ministries & Jeffersontown Area Ministry
- Richmond: God’s Pantry
- Somerset: God’s Pantry
Forcht Bank has also opened its application process for its Community Impact Scholarship program. Applications will be accepted through Dec. 31.
A total of three $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to three graduating high school seniors.
Applicants are evaluated on various areas including GPA, two essays, honors and awards, employment and extracurricular activities, and community involvement and volunteering.
Last year there were over 100 applicants.
