Former W’Burg Kiwanis president named Lt. Governor of Kiwanis International division in Indiana

A former Williamsburg Kiwanis Club president is now the Lt. Governor of the Indy Metro Division of the Indiana District of Kiwanis International.

Williamsburg native Mike Colegrove, who now resides in Fishers, Indiana, assumed the duties of the position on Oct. 1.

Colegrove is currently a member of the Castleton Kiwanis Club where he has served as club president and secretary. Currently he serves as club foundation president.

Prior to moving to Indiana, Colegrove served as Lt. Governor of Division 6 of the Kentucky-Tennessee Kiwanis District.

The Indy Metro Division is currently made up of eight clubs. Indiana Kiwanis is partnered with Riley Hospital for Children of Indianapolis.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to helping kids in a variety of ways including: sheltering the homeless, feeding the hungry, mentoring the disadvantaged, and raising funds for medical research and treatment.
