Four men charged with dealing drugs at McDonald’s

Date:

An anonymous tip led Corbin Police to four men who were allegedly selling meth, Morphine and prescription pills in a local fast food restaurant parking lot Monday.

Major Rob Jones, the department’s public affairs officer, stated that Jeffery Elliott, 44 and Bobby Lovett, 36, both of Woodbine, along with Rickey Millsaps, 43, and Kylen Lovett, 18, both of Corbin were arrested on drug trafficking and possession charges at the McDonald’s on Falls Hwy.

Capt. Coy Wilson and Officer Arron Peace responded to the scene and began their investigation, which led to the arrest of the four men.

Jones stated that the officers recovered several gramps of meth, along with prescription controlled narcotics, Morphine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

In addition, the officers found a toy gun that had been painted to look as if it were a real gun inside the suspects’ vehicle.

Each man was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance for the methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence and public intoxication.

They were all lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
