Francis Cordelia “Cordy” Stephens, age 71, of Browns Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2020, at her home. She was born on June 21, 1948 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, to the late Oscar and Ella (Brummett) Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Wesley Stephens.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty Prewitt of Williamsburg and Patricia Coatney (John) of Middlesboro; brother, Sherman Bryant (Nan) of Knoxville, Tennessee; niece, Jennifer Barnwell (Thomas) of Middlesboro; three nephews, David Prewitt (Robin) of Georgetown, Kevin Bryant (Janet) of Knoxville and Derek Bryant (Janine) of Houston, Texas; two great-nieces, Katlyn Barnwell and Emily Barnwell; four great-nephews, Will Prewitt, Michael Prewitt, James Bryant and David Bryant; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Sunday, March 15, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Rhodes officiating. Following the service, she was laid to rest in the Wofford Cemetery.
