Free UNITE Shoot Hoops Not Drugs basketball clinic coming to WCHS Tuesday (June 17)

Kathy Walczak, representing the Tri-County Elks Club, recently presented a donation to sponsor the Operation UNITE Shoot Hoops Not Drugs Summer Program.

There are seven Shoot Hoops clinics in eastern Kentucky. Former University of Kentucky point guard and four-time All-SEC Academic Team member Jarrod Polson conducts the camps.

The closest one will be on Tuesday (June 17) at Whitley County High School. All of the camps will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.

All attendees will receive a free meal, a free basketball, a free t-shirt and a chance to win a basketball goal. Pre-registration is not required.

Simply show up at the door.
