Mr. and Mrs. Willie Joe and Debra Frost of Corbin, KY are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa Ann, to Elijah Thomas Gibson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Jo Gibson of Vincent, OH.
The bride is a Corbin native and attended Lynn Camp High School. After high school Vanessa attended the University of the Cumberlands where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV for her Internal Medicine Residency where she met Elijah.
The bride is currently employed by Camden Clark Medical Center as an Internal Medicine physician.
The groom attended Wood County Christian School in Williamstown, WV and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV.
He is currently employed by OhioHealth in Athens, OH as a pharmacist.
Vanessa is the granddaughter of the late “Doc” and Julia Frost and the late Clifford and Mary Blakley.
Elijah is the grandson of James and Juanita Gibson and Charles and Mary Kiser.
The couple will be wed at the bride’s home in June with reception to follow. Formal invitations have been sent. The bride and groom plan to honeymoon in Jamaica.
Elijah and Vanessa will reside in Lexington, KY after the wedding.
