Fugate – Renfro exchange vows
Jessica Lee Fugate and Aaron Ferrell Renfro were united in marriage on January 23, 2016 at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY amongst immediate family and close friends.
The bride is the daughter of Mike Fugate and Jane Mattingly of Lexington. She is the granddaughter of Raymond Fugate and the late Monella Fugate of Battletown, KY and the late Thomas and Grace Mattingly of Saint Mary, KY.
Jessica is a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. Jessica is employed by the University of Kentucky as a Family Nurse Practitioner and previously as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse at the UK Children’s Hospital.
The groom is the son of Simon L. III “Ronnie” and Catharine Renfro of Williamsburg, KY. He is the grandson of Barbara Carnes, the late Ferrell Carnes and the late Simon L. Jr. and Billie Jo Renfro both of Williamsburg.
Aaron attended Williamsburg High School and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Aaron currently works as a Project Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers in Richmond, KY.
The couple resides in Lexington, KY with their two dogs.
