Garrison’s celebrate 50th anniversary

Albert and Nawatha Garrison of Corbin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 30. Albert Garrison and Nawatha Cline were married April 30, 1960 at the old West Corbin Baptist Church parsonage by Nawatha’s father, the late Rev. Volen Cline. 

Albert is the son of the late Simon G. Garrison and Fannie Edith Brewer Garrison of Corbin. Nawatha is the daughter of the late Rev. Volen Cline and Bea Godsey Cline of Corbin.

Albert is retired from Whayne Supply Co. and Nawatha from American Greeting Co. 

They are blessed with two children and three grandchildren: Kim Garrison Clowser of Dayton, Ohio and Robin Garrison Parsley of Corbin; Nicole and Holly Williamsburg of Lexington, Ky. and Vince Parsley of Corbin.

They give God all the honor and glory for their lasting union together.
