Genevieve Neavada Witt, age 76, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born on March 24, 1945 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Harlan Egnor and Maude Marie (Lay) Egnor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Gordon Fraley and granddaughter, Ashley Megan Estes. She attended Emlyn Church of God.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Witt (Barbara) of Williamsburg; granddaughter, Aman-da Witt of Cincinnati, Ohio; great grandson, Owen Oleckniche of Cincinnati, Ohio; grand-son, William Hartman of Williamsburg; sisters, Sandra Witt (Matt) of Emlyn and Vickie Bryant of Williamsburg; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Mason, Hayden, Aubrey, and Kennedy; nieces and nephews, Robert Mason, Jordan Bryant, Christian Bryant, Paul Edmond Hering, Courtney Hayes, Christy Richardson, and Jennifer Calder and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to the funeral hour on Sunday, January 30, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 30, at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Long and Rev. Chuck Evans officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery in McCreary County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Paul Edmond Hering, Keith Reynolds, Jordan Bryant, Benny Mahan, and Timothy Lambdin.
