George W. “Bill” Schoolcraft, age 93, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Christian Healthcare Center in Corbin.
He was born in Michigan and received his BA from the University of Kentucky. Bill was a retired sales rep and a US Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Crawford Schoolcraft, parents, Perk and Stella Schoolcraft, and by a brother, Herman Schoolcraft.
He is survived by his children, Wendy Beaudry and husband Tim, and Keith Schoolcraft and wife Anita; granddaughter, Callie Schoolcraft; sisters, Carolyn Reeves and Linda Lucas and husband Bill; and by a brother, C P Schoolcraft.
Visitation will be form 1 pm until 2 pm on Thursday, June 30, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2 pm, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Bill’s memory to the Distad Instrument Fund of the Music Alumni Association, P.O. Box 2003, Corbin, KY 40702.
