Sharon Stanek

Sharon Stanek, age 69, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born January 4, 1953 in Trenton, MI to the late G. L. and Willie Mae Cupp Walker.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband. Steven Stanek; and a brother, Eldon Walker.
She is survived by four children, Sherry Sulfridge (Bobby) of Williamsburg, KY, Jesse Stanek (Misty) of Corbin, KY, Wyatt Kimberlin of Williamsburg, KY, and Nick Lynch (Courtney) of Cincinnati, OH; seven grandchildren, Charles Burnside, Logan Sulfridge, Brandon Sulfridge, Weston Sulfridge, Brody Sulfridge, Dakota Brown, Alex Brown, and Terra Brown; and a host of honorary grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six sisters, Eva Hatfield of AL, Kimberly Riddle of MI, Becky Worthington of AL, Linda Keen of AL, Emma Daniel of AL, Bonnie Shipman of AL; five brothers, Steve Walker of AL, Phillip Benson of MI, Timothy Benson of MI, David Thompson of MI, and Alan Benson of MI; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome Cox officiating. Interment will be in Marlow Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Friday, July 1, at the funeral home.
