Georgia Ball Estep

Georgia Ball Estep, age 89, of Little Cane Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. Georgia was born on January 21, 1932 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Pearl Bailey and Rosa (Whitehead) Ball. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ed Estep; and a granddaughter, Amber Dawn Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Loren Johnson (Meretta Rains) of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, William Dean Johnson, Rosa Johnson, Jaylene Roberson and Tina Johnson; 10 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Reggie Ball (Barbara) and Junior Ball (Betty), all of Miamisburg, Ohio; one sister, Jean Ball of Harlan, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Wednesday, July 7, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rainey Whitehead officiating. Following the service she was laid to rest in the Ball Cemetery on Little Cane Creek Road in Williamsburg.
