Glenda B. Lickliter, 77, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at her home.

Born in Corbin, Glenda was the daughter of the late Bill and Nellie Fuson Wright.

She was a homemaker and lifetime member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Zelpha Wright Grant, Georgeann Fuson West, Colleen Fuson Proffitt, Harrison Junior Wright, and also by an infant brother and sister; and grandchildren Lane and Brett Lickliter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 1/2 years, Carl “Dorman” Lickliter; five children: Nancy Simpson (Ken), Teresa Gregory (Steve), Carl Lickliter, Jr. (Melinda), Robbie Lickliter (Gwen), and David Lickliter (Lisa), all of Corbin; sister Cleda Fuson Smock of Cincinnati; grandchildren: Kenneth Simpson (Audra), Cameron Simpson (Tina), Sarah Gregory, William Williams, Megan Gambrel (Robert), Matthew Lickliter, Whitley Lickliter Pleasant (Shawn), Reagan Smith, Kane Price, Harper Lickliter, Chelsey Lickliter, Rebekah Lickliter, Shelby Lickliter, and Chloe Lickliter; great-grandchildren: Sawyers Simpson, Denver Williams, Liam Lickliter, Makenna Williams, and Jonah Lickliter; several nieces, nephews, family and friends, and special friend Mary Lou Giles.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 4, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Keaton Smith officiating.

Burial will be in the Lickliter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Simpson, Cameron Simpson, Kane Price, William Williams, Matthew Lickliter, Kenneth Proffitt, and Alex Housley.
