Goldie Cordelia Prewitt

Goldie Cordelia Prewitt, age 88, of Wilton, Kentucky departed this life on September 1, 2022.
She was born to Dolphus B. Prewitt and Pearl Engle Prewitt.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Robert Paul Lawson and William Ray Lawson; five sisters, Maxine Saylor, Pauline Shepherd, Dixie Victor, Betty McDonald, and Barbara Stewart; two brothers, Roy Prewitt, Sr. and Dolphus Prewitt, Jr.; one grandson, Danny P. Lawson; one granddaughter, Jami McNutt; daughter-in-law, Christine Lawson; and husband, Eugene Lawson.
She is survived by two daughters, Gaile Owens (Henry) and Lois E. Lawson of Corbin, Kentucky; four sons, James E. Lawson of Hartselle, Alabama, Elmer E. Lawson (Mary), Walter Lawson (Donna), and Roy L. Lawson (Freda) all of Corbin, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of nephews and nieces that were special to her; and special caregiver, Nora Lawson.
Visitation will be at 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Monday, September 5, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 5, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luke Day officiating.
She will be laid to rest in the Young’s Cemetery off Highway 90.
