Gorman Michael (Mike) Jones Jr

Gorman Michael (Mike) Jones Jr., of London, Kentucky formally from the Canadatown community, departed this life on April 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by family and friend.
He was born to the late Gorman Jones Sr. and Geneva (Lovitt) Jones on July 5, 1953, in Jellico, Tennessee. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Mike is survived by two sisters, Betty Bollifer of Benton, Missouri and Patsy Kretzer and husband Billy of Kansas City, Missouri; special caregivers, Wes and Misty Canada of London, Kentucky; a special friend for over 55 years, Ronnie Petrey, of Williamsburg, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
Mike loved being at the Canadatown Market with Clay and Lois.
Funeral services was Friday, April 29, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Canada officiating. Burial followed in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
