Granville Petrey

Granville Petrey, age 72, of Corbin, Ky., passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home.
He was born January 3,1950 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late James and Clemma Lawson Petrey. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Becky Petrey Thomas; and a sister, Betty Davis.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda Petrey of Corbin, Ky.; two children, Diana Petrey Hearld (Blaine Alan) of Somerset, Ky.; and Mary Ann Petrey Brock (Sam) of Gray, Ky.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Beauanna Durham (Ted), Darlene Carpenter (Rev. Bill), Alma Ruth Stack (Jerry), and Cathy Carpenter (Darrell) all of Williamsburg, Ky.; two brothers, Carl Ray Petrey (Lois) of Williamsburg, Ky., and George Earl Petrey of Pleasant Plains, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Monday, April 25, at Mt. Ash Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Carpenter and Rev. Luke Day officiating.
Interment will be in the Highland Park Cemetery Ellison Addition.
