Hall wants rest of charges dropped

A Corbin man, who recently had three felony cases against him dismissed with prejudice, which means the charges can’t be filed again, is asking a special judge to dismiss the two remaining misdemeanor charges against him too.
A Monday afternoon hearing is scheduled in Whitley District Court in the cases of Tristan Hall, 32, who is charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension in connection in a 2014 case and harassing communications in a 2015 case.

Knoxville attorney Herbert Moncier filed motions in both cases last month asking to have the charges dismissed because Hall was denied his right to a speedy trial.
