Ray and Martha King of Williamsburg would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Heather Renee King to Benjamin Daniel Powers, son of Vernon and Nellie Powers also of Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Heather and Ben are both 2004 graduates of Whitley County High School. Heather is currently a sophomore at the University of the Cumberlands, majoring in Elementary Education. Ben is employed by Renfro Supply Company.
Heather is the granddaughter of Adell Rowe and the late Willard Brooks of Williamsburg and Gearldine Jones and the late Donald King of Knoxville, TN. Ben is the grandson of Joann Bennett and the late George Powers of Williamsburg and the late Jack and Ruby Powers of Williamsburg.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. at Mulberry Community Church in Williamsburg. A reception will follow at the Pafterson Creek Fire Department Reception Hall. All family and friends are invited to attend.
