High School Football Results – 11/6/15

 Two coverage area football teams are moving on to round two of the state championship playoffs, while two others saw their 2015 seasons come to a close Friday night.

The Whitley County Colonels ended their season with an overall record of 6-5 after falling on the road to the Southwestern Warriors 36-14.

The Lynn Camp Wildcats are also done for the year, finishing with a 4-7 record after losing at Pikeville by a final score of 68-8.

The Corbin Redhounds (7-4) live to fight another day, defeating Knott County Central at home Friday, 42-21. The Hounds will host Casey County (5-6) in second round action next week at Campbell Field.

And finally, the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets were able to take down the visiting South Floyd Raiders 41-12, advancing them to round two and improving their overall record to 5-5. Next week the Jackets will go on the road to face Pikeville (9-2).
