Iva Marie Rigney Perkins, age 86, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her home. She was born July 28, 1935 in Jellico, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by husband, Paul Andrew Perkins, Sr.; parents, Woodrow and Leta Bell Rigney; brothers, Tony and James “J.C.” Rigney; sisters, Fannie Albertini and Helen Thomas.
She is survived by sons, John Perkins and Paul A. Perkins, Jr.; daughters, Judy Perkins, Barbara Loudin and Janet Moses; grandchildren, Ian, Avery, Charity, Danielle and Justin; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow Rigney, Jr. and Bill Rigney; sisters, Betty Jeffers, Mildred “Coody” Silcox, and Charlotte “Peachie” Dople; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, May 28, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge Community.
