Janet Ball, age 55, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.
She was born on January 16, 1967 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan to the late James Edward Ball and the late Sue (Partin) Ball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Ball, and her brother, Jimmy Ball and nephew, Randy Cook.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ball West (Eddie) of Corbin, Kentucky; niece and nephews, Sara Cook of Lebanon, Ohio, Jake Ball of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Logan Goodlett of Lexington, Kentucky; great nephew, Jackson Fields of Lebanon, Ohio; aunts, Lois Benton of Telluride, Colorado, Bessie Smith of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Glenda Swanner of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Shirley Ball of Bedford, Indiana; special friends, Angie Dean of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Jennifer Burton of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Sheila Morrison of Frankfort, Kentucky.
Janet was a Williamsburg High School and Cumberland College graduate where she played softball for the Indians. She loved to write music and play the guitar. She retired from a lifetime of service helping people with special needs.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Merry Jefferies Center.
Graveside service following memorial service will be at Highland Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
