Jannie Ruth Taylor, 72, of Hornaday Drive, Brownsburg, IN (formerly of Beechbottom, at Siler, KY) departed this life on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville, IN.

She was born on June 23, 1945 in Harlan County, to the late Jessie Wright and Georgia Pauline (Cox) Wright.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Taylor; daughter, Teresa Clark; son, Floyd Taylor, Jr.; brother, Jessie Wright and Elmer Mahan; and sister, Hazel Mahan.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Lori Clark (Steve), Rene Bruce (Darrien), and Steven Clark, all of Indianapolis, IN; three great grandchildren, Shae-lynn Bruce, Shanna Bruce, and Stevie McGill; three sisters, Patty Jenkins (Ted), Wanda Brush (Gary), and Wilma McCabe (Dale), all of Dayton, OH; brother, James Taylor (Velta) of Williamsburg; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, January 24, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ande Myers, Shae-lynn Bruce, and Shanna Bruce officiating.

Following the service she was laid to rest in the Beechbottom Cemetery.
