They moved to Corbin with their sons in 1977. She was the owner and operator of Jaye’s Cleaning Service for over 30 years. She attended Frankfort Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Lewis; brothers, Dewey and Coeburn Lewis; sister, Myrtle Lewis; and grandson, Logan Lewis.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Lewis and wife Suzanne of Cincinnati, OH, Mike Lewis and wife Jill of Williamsburg, Jeff Lewis of Corbin and Sean Lewis of Corbin; grandchildren, Leah Lewis, Lacey Lewis, Dixie Zimmerman and husband Jake, Lexy Lewis, Megan Jones and husband Chilton, Molly Kinsey and husband Branson, Parker Hoover and Tristan Lewis; great-grandchildren, Kendall Lewis, Pierce Lewis, Katherine Jones, Marcus Jones, Theo Kinsey, Hayes Kinsey, Lewis Kinsey and Valkyrie Zimmerman; sister, Betty Cunningham of West Chester, OH; brother, Shelby Lewis and wife Diane of New Carlisle, OH; several nieces and nephews and other family and friends who will all miss her immensely.
