Jimmy “Guy” Capps, age 86, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home.
Guy was born on September 22, 1935 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Lewis Capps and the late Dora (Cox) Capps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Alice Capps; son, Jerry Capps; grandson, Jason Scott Capps; and sister, Sue Lynch.
Guy is survived by his sons, James Capps and his wife Wanda, and David Capps and his wife Gladys, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Stacey Sasko, Stephanie Bennett, David Capps, Jr., Jacob Capps, Danielle Dick, Amanda Gibson, and Allison Powers; 13 grandchildren; and special friends, Brian and Ruby Adkins and Mary Ann Hughes all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was known as the Breadman who had routes all over Kentucky and Tennessee.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 6, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 6, at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Hale officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery in Woolridge, Tennessee.
