John L. Whitman, 67, of Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday August 7, 2018 at Continue Care Hospital in Corbin.
He was born February 1, 1951 in Brooksville, FL to the late James L. and Florence Louise Wilson Whitman.
He is survived by his companion Arlene Adkins of Williamsburg; three children; Shawn Whitman (Stephanie) of Steinhatchee, FL, Melissa Coleman (John) of Trinity, FL, Justin Whitman (Trista Baker) of Clearwater, FL, 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a step daughter; Ashley Bisschop (Gerald Michael) of Corbin; a step son; Andrew Adkins (Charray) of Hamilton, OH; two brothers; Rick Whitman (Betty) of Weeki Wachee, FL, Gary Whitman of Homosassa Springs, FL, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Memorial service was held Saturday, August 11, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Wilder and Rev. Gary Lovitt officiating.
