Joie Mildred Willhite, 83, of Highway 904, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at the Rockcastle Health and Rehab Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born March 11, 1934 in Whitley County, to the late Archie Willhite and Flora (Lawson) Willhite.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Large and Georgia Hamilton and brothers, D.F. Willhite and Billy Eugene Willhite.
She is survived by her sister, Edith Brenda Siler and her husband Elmer of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Sunday, July 2, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Siler officiating.
She was laid to rest in the Siler Cemetery in the Verne Community of Williamsburg.
