Jonathan “John” C. Caudill, 48, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.

He was born September 6, 1970, in Corbin.

He was a member of the Church of Christ, an Air Force veteran who served in the Gulf War, and a member of the Salt River 180 Masonic Lodge.

He was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company.

He leaves behind his mother, Sue Phelps and husband Leland; father, William Caudill and wife Brenda; son, Jonathan Scott Caudill and fiancé Michelle Lewis; daughter, Rachel Cox and husband Kelly; three grandchildren: Aurora, Adley, and Declan; two brothers: Richard Caudill and wife Marlene and Greg Caudill and wife Kristin; fiancé, Bethany Hawk; and three step children: Briar Neal, Tommy Morgan, and Savannah Brennan; along with his fur babies, Scooter and Max; and other relatives and numerous friends who mourn his passing. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 1, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Scott and Bro. Rob Thurmond officiating.

Burial followed in Wells Cemetery at Keavy with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post 88 Honor Guard.

A Masonic service by the Hugh Harris #938 was conducted.
