Karen Hill Tackett, 51, of Rockholds, KY., departed this life on August 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 14, 1970 to the late Jerome Hill and Joann (Maiden) Hill. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Tackett and her brother Gregory Hill.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Tackett of Rockholds, KY.; sister, Norma Dillon of Williamsburg, KY.; brother, Steven Hill of Williamsburg, KY.; niece, Amber Stites and husband Andrew of Pittsburg, PA.; nephew, Christopher Dillion of Williamsburg, KY.; niece, Dr. Jennifer Dillon-Bishop and husband Matthew of Atlanta, GA.; niece, Shayla Hill of Williamsburg, KY.; nephew, Jerome “JP” Dillon of Rockholds, KY.; niece, Savannah Faith of Rockholds KY.; two great-nephews, Benjamin and Henry Bishop of Atlanta, GA.; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Karen loved her family dearly and spending time with her loving dogs.
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 1, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The burial will be at the Hill Cemetery on Whetstone road, Rockholds, KY. following the services.
