Katherine King Gosnell

Katherine King Gosnell, age 78, of Jacksboro, Tennessee. passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born March 12, 1943 in Campbell County, Tennessee.
Katherine is preceded in death by husband, Benny Arnold Gosnell; grandchildren, TJ Smith, Matthew Gosnell, Joseph Gosnell; stepson, Michael Gosnell; parents, Luther & Bonnie Brock King; brothers, Howard King, Lloyd King, Kenneth King and wife Nella Faye.
She is survived by, son, Benny Michael Gosnell and wife Sonya; daughters, Melinda Gulley and husband Oscar, Beverly Louise Smith and husband Tommy; step-children, Linda Smith and husband Herman, Danny Gosnell; daughter-in-law, Jessie Gosnell Zickel; grandchildren, Ashley Osborn, Brandon Gosnell, Wesley Smith, Silas Owens, Journey Owens, Gabriele Patrick; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Gosnell, Ryker Smith, Kendall Osborn, Brayden Gosnell, Weston Gosnell, Cody Eli Trammell, McKinley Smith, Angelina Rose, Sawyer Smith; step-grandchildren, Natasha, Mandie, Amie, Mikey, Jami and Danny Gosnell, Amanda Cullem, Kyle and Jordan Smith; ten step-great-grandchildren and two step-great great grandchildren; brothers, Larry King and Shirley, Luther Benny King and wife Melanie, Chester Allen King and Kimberly; sisters, Viola Adkins and late husband Hugh “Bug”, Edith Bargo and late husband James; sisters-in-law, Bonnie King, Diane King, Barbara Douglas and husband Donnie; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
The funeral was held on Monday, July 05, at the White Oak Church of God with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. DJ Osborn officiating. Burial followed in the King Family Cemetery (Roses Creek).
