Kenneth Wayne Hicks

Kenneth Wayne Hicks, age 80, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Beech Tree Manor. He was born September 19, 1944, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Kenneth is preceded in death by father, Martin Hicks; mother, Clara Bell (Hicks) Lay; wife, Melba (Brown) Hicks; wife, Vergie Hicks; and brother, Herbert Joe “Buster” Lay.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery Hicks and wife Betty; stepson, Raymond Elliott; daughters, Sheila Faulkner, and Crystal Botts; grandchildren, Jeffery Hicks, Ashley Adkins, Donald Ray Hicks, Melinda Ford, Scotty Wayne, Maddison, Hunter and Chloe Botts; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Delmer “Duke” Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, February 2, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Bargo officiating.
Burial was Monday, February 3 in the Hicks Cemetery, in Newcomb, Tennessee.
