Knox Co. Grand Jury indicts Corbin man for manslaughter

A Knox County grand jury has returned a manslaughter indictment against a north Corbin man arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident in February.

Forty-six-year-old John Melton is facing charges of second-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.

The incident occurred about 2 a.m. on February 1 on U.S. 25E near Corbin Station shopping center.
