Lawsuit filed by father of two-year-old who was fatally shot by another toddler last fall

Two-year-old Milo Brooks was fatally shot at a Whitley County home last year by another toddler, who had obtained a loaded gun that was left unattended. A criminal case still has yet to be launched in the matter; however, the child’s father has filed a lawsuit in connection to the child’s death, taking aim at the couple who had custody, the social worker who placed the child in their home and the heads of several state agencies.
