The Corbin Board of Education is accepting bids on the following surplus item: Bus #852 – 1998 Amtran International. Also available is Bus #45 – 1991 Ward International, Bus #50 – 1993 Amtran International, Bus #155 – 2001 International, 1985 F-350 Diesel Box Truck, 2001 GMC Sonoma, Featherlite 8×10 Aluminum Tilt Trailer, and Trash Compactor.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Williamsburg, Kentucky, invites qualified companies to submit sealed bids for an exclusive agreement granting the successful bidder the exclusive right to provide roll-off dumpster services within the corporate limits of the City. The service shall include the delivery, placement, rental, exchange, removal, hauling, transportation, and lawful disposal of waste collected through roll-off dumpsters for residential, commercial, industrial, construction, and other authorized customers. The successful bidder shall be responsible for maintaining adequate trucks, containers, equipment, personnel, insurance, licenses, and permits necessary to provide reliable and timely services and shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. Bidders shall submit their qualifications, relevant experience, proposed customer rates, available equipment and container inventory, proof of insurance, and proposed annual fee or percentage of gross revenues to be paid to the City in exchange for the exclusive service rights.
The initial franchise term shall be two (2) years, subject to approval by the City and execution of a written agreement. The selected company shall maintain accurate records of all business conducted within the City and provide periodic revenue reports and payments as required by the agreement.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Roll-Off Dumpster Agreement” and delivered to the City Clerk at 423 Main Street, Williamsburg, KY 40769 no later than 12:00 PM on November 19, 2026.
Bids will be publicly opened on November 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Williamsburg City Hall. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, request additional information, and award the contract to the bidder determined to be most qualified and whose proposal is in the best interest of the City and its residents, subject to applicable Kentucky law and City approval.
