ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the procurement of a Managed Services Provider (MSP) to draft and implement cybersecurity governance policies, procedures, and provide cybersecurity services specific to a grant funded by the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security will be received by the City Utilities Commission at its offices at 1515 Cumberland Falls Highway, Corbin, KY 40701 until 2:00 pm (local time) on Friday August 30, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Prospective Bidders Pre-qualification Requirements:
The City Utilities Commission is requiring all prospective bidders to be pre-qualified to bid this project before receiving bid documents for the project. Pre-qualification forms and requirements can be obtained at the following address:

Upon review of the above requested information and after a determination that the prospective bidder is satisfactory to the Utilities Commission, the prospective bidder will be approved to acquire bid documents for the project. Bidders unsatisfactory to the City Utilities Commission shall not be provided with bid documents, and will not be allowed to submit a bid.

The City Utilities Commission acknowledges that this project is using federal funds issued through the Department of Homeland Security.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.
The City Utilities Commission reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.
Award of the Contract will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible, qualified Bidder.

NOTICE OF BOND RELEASE
In accordance with the provisions of KRS 350.093, notice is hereby given that Investment Energy LLC, P O Box 174, Gray, KY 40734 intends to apply for a Phase II and III bond release on increment 1 of permit number 918-0462, which was last issued on August 10, 2016. This application covers an area of approximately 12.36 acres, located 1 mile north of Mountain Ash in Whitley County.
The permit area is approximately 1.2 miles north from Old Mountain Ash’s junction with US25W and located 0.5 miles east of Clear Fork.
The total bond now in effect on increment 1 is $59,400. Approximately 100 percent of the original bond amount is included in this application for Phase II and III release.
Reclamation work performed includes backfilling/grading/topsoiling/seeding completed in October 2016. Results thus far achieved backfilling/grading/topsoiling/seeding.
Written comments, objections, and request for a public hearing or informal conference must be filed with the Director, Division of Field Services, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601 by October 11, 2024.
A public hearing has been scheduled for 10:00 AM on October 14, 2024 at the Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland Ave., Middlesboro, KY 40965. This hearing shall be canceled if the cabinet does not receive a request in writing, for the public hearing by the closing date October 11, 2024 for a hearing.
