The Housing Authority of Corbin and surrounding areas are seeking sealed contractor bids for playground equipment, concrete, electrical installation (per hour), stone/rock, and roofing. All contractors must have a proven track record, demonstrate competence, insurance, license if applicable, verifiable experience, references with phone numbers, addresses, preferred description of community interactions such as the chamber of commerce. Roofs will include a per square price, with three tab-grey architectural shingles, this will be a complete tear off/disposal, and any structural damage may be negotiated independently. The playground equipment must be interactive and serve a variety of developmental ages. Examples can be provided by contacting the housing office. NOTICE OF BOND RELEASE
In accordance with the provisions of KRS 350.093, notice is hereby given that Investment Energy LLC, P O Box 174, Gray, KY 40734 intends to apply for a Phase II and III bond release on increment 1 of permit number 918-0462, which was last issued on August 10, 2016. This application covers an area of approximately 12.36 acres, located 1 mile north of Mountain Ash in Whitley County.
The permit area is approximately 1.2 miles north from Old Mountain Ash’s junction with US25W and located 0.5 miles east of Clear Fork.
The total bond now in effect on increment 1 is $59,400. Approximately 100 percent of the original bond amount is included in this application for Phase II and III release.
Reclamation work performed includes backfilling/grading/topsoiling/seeding completed in October 2016. Results thus far achieved backfilling/grading/topsoiling/seeding.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MINE

In accordance with KRS 350.055 notice is hereby given that H, L, & S, Inc., 300 West Fifth Street, London, KY 40741 intends to transfer permit number 918-0512 to Blue Gem Holdings, LLC, 799 Ky 1527, Gray, KY 40734. The new permit number will be 918-0516. The operation disturbs 135.12 acres. No new acreage is affected by the transfer.
The operation is located 0.1 mile southeast of Woodbine in Whitley County. The operation is approximately 0.1 mile southwest of KY Route 6 junction with KY 3606 and located 0.2 mile southwest of the confluence of Eaton Branch with Lynn Camp Creek. The operation is located on the Corbin KY 7½ minute quadrangle map.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Whitley County Board of Education will hold a public hearing in the Board Room at Whitley County Board of Education on September 19, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. to hear public comments regarding a proposed general fund tax levy of 46.1 cents on real property and 46.1 cents on personal property.
The General Fund tax levied in fiscal year 2024 was 40.9 cents on real property and 41.3 cents on personal property and produced revenue of $3,639,215. The proposed General Fund tax rate of 46.1 cents on real property and 46.1 cents on personal property is expected to produce $4,428,617. Of this amount $676,889 is from new and personal property. The compensating tax for 2025 is 38.2 cents on real property and 38.2 cents on personal property and is expected to produce $3,669,700.
The general areas to which revenue of $789,403 above 2024 revenue is to be allocated are as follows: Cost of collections, $31,576; building fund, $585,465; and instruction, $172,362.
The General Assembly has required publication of this advertisement and information contained herein.
