Leigh Burke gets probation, ordered to pay restitution

A Williamsburg woman, who stole money from the Whitley County Board of Education and the Kentucky Association of School Business Officials (KASBO), resolved her criminal charges with a probated sentence during a sentencing hearing Monday morning, but her legal woes aren’t quite over yet thanks to a civil lawsuit filed 10 days earlier in Whitley Circuit Court.
