London man charged with exposing himself at Spillway

A London man, who is accused of exposing himself to a woman and her four-year-old daughter Sunday afternoon, apparently suffered a broken rib in a fight at the Laurel Lake Spillway before he was arrested and taken to the hospital, according to court records.
Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy Ken Mobley charged Carl E. Baldridge, 29, of 312 West First Street in London, with indecent exposure, second-degree stalking, and disorderly conduct.
According to Mobley’s arrest citation, Baldridge allegedly exposed himself to the woman and her daughter, and “took out his penis and shook it at her,” and then chased and stalked them “with his penis in his hand.”
Mobley noted in the arrest citation that Baldridge’s disorderly conduct charge stemmed from him being involved in a fight at the beach.
“I was walking up the trail to the rock to tell my husband it was time to go,” the woman wrote in a statement to police, which was included in the court file. “There were a boy and a girl behind me and he was in front of me. He kept looking back at me so I stopped to let the people behind catch up with me because I got suspicious.
“He started walking further ahead so I thought it was OK, but when I came up on closer to where he was he turned around and pulled his private part out and shaking it all in me and my four-year-old daughter’s face telling us to come get some of it. I told him to leave us alone and he tried to grab us so I ran to my husband.”
Baldridge was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center for treatment following the fight on the beach.
All three charges are misdemeanors.
Second-degree stalking is a class ‘A’ misdemeanor punishable by up to 12 months in jail, and a $500 fine, if convicted.
