Lorene Smith Ramsey, 68, of Jellico passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Jellico Community Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1948 in Capuchin.
Lorene is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Robert “Jimi” Ramsey; father, Truman Smith; mother,Anna Jane Bauswell Smith; brothers, Ova Smith, Curtis Smith, Truman “Doc” Smith; sisters, Opal Trammell, Mary Ruth Lane Abbott Woods, Offie Smith, Jeanetta Smith, Hazel Braden, Christine Wilson.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Dewayne Ramsey, Kenneth Michael “Mikey” Ramsey; daughter:, Christel Michelle Gibson; granddaughters, Hannah Ramsey, Molly Ramsey, Katelyn Ramsey; sisters, Ruby Klein and late husband Adam, Irene Lamb and husband MacArthur; son-in-law, David Gibson; close Family Friend, Floyd Blankenship; and host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 23 at the Funeral Home with Rev. E. Wayne Barton II and Rev. Danny Elliott officiating.
Burial was held Tuesday, October 24, in the Fox Cemetery in Newcomb, TN.
