Louise Smith Kidd, 89, of Jellico, TN went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Jellico Community Hospital.

Louise is preceded in death by her father, William A. Smith; mother Donnie Collins Smith; husband, Simon C. Kidd; brothers, Floyd and Kelcie Smith; sisters, Willie Mae Reynolds, Lobanks Bailey; son-in-law, Walter Huddleston; great-grandson, Christopher Coppinger.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Arlene) Kidd, Sharon Huddleston, Glenna (Ed) Merclers, Nelson (Jean) Kidd, Darrell (Teresa) Kidd, Helen (Jimmy) Ellison; grandchildren, Teresa (Terry) Lawson, Pam (David) McElroy, Michelle (Eric) Brooks, Andy (Tiffany) Kidd, Steven (Karen) Kidd, Tim (Rebecca) Ellison, Daniel (Stephanie) Ellison, Jeffrey (Carrie) Kidd, Angela (Ben) Taylor, Jonathan (Amanda) Kidd, Brad (Stephanie) Huddleston, Amanda (John) Washam, Anita (Brian) Miller, 22 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a host friends to mourn her passing.

Louise was known for her love of the Lord, her love for her family and her lemon pie. She had a smile, a hug and a witness for everyone she met.

The funeral service was held Sunday February 25, in Jellico, TN; with Rev. Jerry Lambdin, Rev. Mike Smith, Rev. Leslie E. Kidd and Rev. Lester Cox officiating.

Interment was held Monday, February 26, in the Douglas Cemetery in Wooldridge, TN.

Serving as pallbearers were Andy Kidd, Steven Kidd, Tim Ellison, Daniel Ellison, Jeffrey Kidd, Jonathan Kidd, Brad Huddleston, Trevor Lawson and Taylor Lawson.

The Llewellyn Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of the arrangements.
