Lynn Camp Football to open season Friday at Frankfort

Date:

Coach Mark Huddleston’s Lynn Camp Wildcats will travel to Frankfort Friday night for what will be the first game.

Lynn Camp’s opener against Jellico was postponed because of COVID–19.

It has been rescheduled for Sept. 30.

The Panthers are coming off of a 41-14 victory at home against Paris last Friday.

Quarterback Sam Davis completed eight passes for 207 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Azeno Williams had 14 carries for 83 yards and three touchdowns, while Jaden Morgan ran for 54 yards and another touchdown.

“Frankfort is a very athletic, well coached team,” Huddleston said. “They have a very aggressive defense and really do a good job of getting the ball to their playmakers.”

As to what the Wildcats have to do to come home with the win, Huddleston boiled it down to one thing.

“We can’t beat ourselves with penalties and turnovers,” Huddleston said.
