A Williamsburg man, who allegedly pointed a loaded .22 caliber pistol at his sister-in-law’s head on New Year’s Eve and pulled the trigger, pleaded guilty Tuesday afternoon to a reduced charge.

Michael Lee Rickett, 54, was initially indicted in February for criminal attempt to commit murder, fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest.
