Mark Matthew Vanover, 48, of Copley Road, Lily, KY (formerly of Williamsburg) departed this life on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky.

Mark was born on March 16, 1971 in Ft. Benning, GA to the late William (W.F.) Vanover and Imogene (Young) Vanover.

He was also preceded in death by his adoptive parents, James and Donna Young and a sister, Willene “Billie” Cox.

Mark is survived by his fiancé, Dianna Johnson of Lily; two children, Devan Vanover of London and Tayler Vanover of Lexington; three stepchildren, Reba Mabe of Gray, Sherry Hyde of East Bernstadt, and Adam Johnson of Lily; eight grandchildren, Keith Bennett, Addylin Harmon, Noah Mabe, Eli Mabe, Jade Hyde, Jaylee Johnson, Emma Johnson and Avery Johnson; parents, Jerry and Peggy Woods of Corbin; brothers and sisters, Rick Young (Natalie) of Williamsburg, Rodney Young of Williamsburg, Sarah Cupp (Malcolm) of Cincinnati, OH, Robyn Blakley of Corbin, William Vanover (Sharon) of Winchester and Allen Woods (Betty) of Corbin; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation for Mark will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, July 31, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.

Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery in Williamsburg.
