Martha Lee Daniel, 92, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her residence.
Martha had been a homemaker, was a member of Central Baptist Church, and a member of the Cumberland Falls Garden Club and Friday Afternoon Book Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd F. Johnson and Sallye Reynolds Johnson; husband, Robert Daniel, Jr.; and siblings, Frances Young, George Johnson, Don Johnson, Shirley Raines, and Doris Johnson.
Surviving are her sons: Robert Daniel, III and wife Brenda of Corbin, Mark F. Daniel and wife Jennifer of Corbin, and Scott L. Daniel of Denver, CO; brother, Joe Johnson and wife Frances of Mechanicsville, VA; grandchildren, Robert “Toby” Daniel, IV and wife Mandy of Lexington, and Mollie R. Daniel of Corbin; three great-grandchildren: Leighton L. Daniel, Gracen R. Daniel, and Hayes R. Daniel; and sister-in-law Nancy Daniel.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Austin Carty and Dr. Max Cox officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
