Mary Joann Auterson, age 79, of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2021 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. Mary was born on June 2, 1942 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Albert Alva Davis and Flora Ellen (Walters) Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewell Auterson; sister, Lola Brooks; and brother, Albert Nelson Davis.
She is survived by two children, Kimberly Hollin (James) of Bryan, Ohio and Joseph Saylor (Melissa) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jaclyn Hollin, Logan Hollin, Kathlyn Saylor Crabtree, Bryce Saylor, and Josh Saylor; one great-grandson, Asher Crabtree; two sisters, Lillian Lawson (Ulas) of Corbin, Kentucky and Viola Smith of Norwood, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was on Monday, April 4, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denny Roberts officiating.
Interment was at the Sutton-Pemberton Cemetery.
