Matney finishes third at state wrestling meet

Whitley County’s Lauren Matney wrapped up her high school wrestling career with a third place finish at the girls’ state wrestling tournament.

The senior competed in the 182 pound weight class, losing to eventual state champion Lisa Fleming-McBride of Harrison County by pinfall and then to Angel Hilton of Cooper by pinfall.
