May Day Queen and Tiny Queen race update

At the end of the first count in the race for May Queen and Tiny Queen, the Ossoli Club has released the results: first place at this time is Anna Storms. Elle Hays is in second place, and in third place is Savannah Wilson.

In the race for Tiny Queen, Briley North is in first place. Rebekah Queener is in second place, and Emerson “Emmy” Peace is in third place.

The race for May Queen and Tiny Queen will end Friday, April 27, at noon.

The May Day Festival celebrates it’s 75th Anniversary this year and is sponsored annually by the GFWC KY Ossoli Club of Corbin. The event will be held at the Corbin Arena at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4.

All May Day Festival proceeds are used to fund community projects, and donations for the queen candidates are tax deductible. Checks should be written to the Ossoli Foundation with the candidate’s name indicated on the memo line.
